DC Ramban chairs meeting, discusses arrangements for reopening of schools

directs officers to ensure 100% achievement under PMJAY-SEHAT scheme, completion of development works

RAMBAN, February 12: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam today convened a meeting of district and sectoral officers to ensure implementation of directions issued by the Government for implementing various schemes including PMJAY-SEHAT, completion of development works and arrangements for reopening of schools. 

Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal, CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal and various district and sectoral officers present in the meeting. 

The Deputy Commissioner directed the officers of executing agencies and other concerned departments to expedite the pace of execution of construction works and implementation of centrally sponsored schemes of their respective departments.

The DC directed the RDD to achieve 100% target both physical and financial by completing all development works sanctioned under the RDD sector. He also directed all executing agencies to focus on works sanctioned under different sectors like Jal Shakti, Health and PWD and other departments by accelerating pace of execution of development works in the interest of local public.     

          On the occasion the DC also highlighted the achievement of various departments and appreciated the officers and offices of different departments to work with coordination.

He also asked the CEO and CMO to ensure all children in the 15 to 17 years age group and teachers are vaccinated in view of reopening of schools in upcoming days. The DC asked the concerned officers to ensure   every employee of their establishment has a Golden/Sehat card.
