ISM Dept. conducts awareness cum immunity booster distribution camp at Ramban

 

RAMBAN, February 03: Department of Indian System of Medicine (ISM), AYUSH organized an awareness cum immunity booster distribution   camp today here at District Administrative   Complex, Ramban.      

 

The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam, BDC Chairperson, Khari Sajad Hussain, ADDC, Rajinder Sharma, ACD Zameer Rishu, CPO Dr. Kasturi Lal, DSWO Waheed-Ul-Rehman and   various other senior officers and staff members were participated in the camp.   

While distributing immunity booster kits among the district officers and staff members working in different offices functional in administrative complex, the DC advised them to take immunity boosting medicines as per prescription of the doctors besides practicing yoga on daily basis.

The DC also appreciated the ISM Department Ramban for organizing awareness cum immunity booster distribution camps across the district especially in far-flung areas. He informed that   more than 1 lakh units of AYUSH medicines have been distributed amongst people in the district.  

Besides highlighting the importance of AYUSH medicines which help in strengthening the immune system by improving the overall strength and vitality in humans, the DC exhorted the officers to spread the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in these times of pandemic among all the staff working at vulnerable spots.  

            Earlier, Nodal Officer Immunity boosting, Dr. Masood Iqbal Zarger delivered a lecture on the importance of immunity boosting Ayurvedic and Unani drugs, he also sensitized the participants about the significance of implementation of Covid protocols in preventing spread of Covid infections.  

            Beneficiaries appreciated the efforts of ISM Department for distributing immunity booster at appropriate time.
