ADC pays surprise visit in various offices at Ramban.

 RAMBAN,  February 02: – Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Harbans Lal Sharma today paid a surprise visit to various district offices and issued directions for strict action against those who were found playing truant from their duties.

          The ADC inspected various offices including State Forest Corporation, Block Development Officer, Sheep Husbandry and Animal Husbandry Department offices and Industrial Training Institute, Polytechnic College Ramban and other district and sectoral offices.

          During the inspection the ADC found various officials absent from duties and directions were issued to proceed against them in terms of service conduct rules. He said the district administration will not tolerate indiscipline and take strict action as per rules against those who do not perform their duties assiduously.  

          The ADC sought explanations from concerned officers for not maintaining leave accounts and attendance registers in their offices. Meanwhile, names of absent employees of Sheep, Animal Husbandry and other departments have also been forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner for action as per rules.  

          The ADC also expressed serious concern over the not implementing earlier direction of District Administration to ensure attendance and punctuality in offices.   He also asked the officers and officials  to maintain their respective buildings and spruce up surroundings besides implementing Covid protocols in thier offices while performing thier duties to resolve public issues on priority basis .

          The ADC directed officers to not leave the station without seeking prior permission from the Deputy Commissioner.
